Why do I write here?
Well, I am so glad you asked. I have always been a writer. Someone I was close to in my teens said I should write a book one day. That day hasn’t come yet, but I am in the process. This person encouraged me to write. He told me that I was talented and had the ability to bring people into my story, situation, or experience. Something capable of bringing people together or creating discord and understanding should be share. Or, that’s what I think anyway.
I enjoy writing for others. I want to share stories and learn about others. Stories are a wonderful way for us to learn about cultures and people we do not understand. They help us learn lessons and relate to individuals and situations. I truly believe that help us see the humanity we all share.
I write for myself as well. I have a lot of thoughts I want to share with people. Some are of little consequence. Others, I want someone to read and learn from. I don’t write to be famous, because clearly I am not, but I write for the one person who may find me and feel seen, heard, and understood.
